Day 1 - Friday 25th July

The 1st 20miles or so to the camp site at Wick. From the youth hostel at John 0’ Groats which is actually at Canisbay - (6 miles away) to John O’ Groats - then along A99 to Nybster and onto to the campsite at Wick.

Start by getting to John O' Groats

To walk from John O' Groats back down to Keighley you first have to to get to John O' Groats....so Wednesday 23rd July 5.30am saw David and Ryan at Keighley station with fully loaded backpacks and a group of bleery eyed friends to wave them off....and Ryans mum and dad who gave them the lift to the station in the first place. (we...Davids mum and dad ) were camping in Appletreewick and so couldn't be there, we waved them off the day before.
4 trains later they got to Thurso at around 9.45 pm.
Thanks to Helen, Ian and family who collected them from the station at Thurso , fed watered and put them up for the night.
